I. Workshop description

            This workshop will cover reports on the highlights of RDA updates from the RDA Subcommittee as well as NACO and Taiwan geographic name updates from our LC liaison.  
Besides reports, this workshop will include a group discussion of CEAL best practices concerning CJK numerals (especially non-numeral characters), CJK relationship designators, 
CJK serial title changes and CJK examples.  With newly released LCGFT/LCDGT (genre/form terms), which are crucial for facet searching and the development of linked data, we are pleased to have Adam Schiff, 
ALA SAC Subcommittee on Genre/Form Implementation, Chair, provide training on LCGFT & LCDGT.  In response to years of popular demand, Rob Britt, UW Law Library, 
will provide training on cataloging CJK legal materials.
